Company Corporate Responsibility

SLPowers is committed to being a deeply responsible company. We believe in contributing positively to our communities and the environment. We always attempt to give back to our community, whether it is our local community where we reside and our employees live, the general business community in which we participate, or the international community of IT industry professionals. We work closely with our vendor partners to help create a more sustainable approach to IT, minimize our environmental footprint and assisting our clients in doing the same.

SLPowers has a long standing history of helping out not-for-profit or charitable organizations either through reduced pricing or contribution efforts. Some of these organizations have included: The Boys and Girl Club of Palm Beach County, First Baptist Church of Ft. Lauderdale, South Florida Science Museum, The Lord's Place, Palm Beach Atlantic University, YMCA of the Palm Beaches and others. We are also members and supporters of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches, The Greater Ft. Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce and Answer Atlanta.

Beginning in 2007, SLPowers has sponsored an annual event in downtown West Palm Beach, The Margarita Ball of the Palm Beaches...an evening of food, drinks and entertainment. Admission to the party consists of two unwrapped toys per attendee. These toys are distributed by Community Friends Inc., a local not-for-profit organization, that works with other local charities and organizations to make sure that children who might not otherwise receive presents during the holidays are not left without.
